On Jun. 06^th of 2014, Ruifeng Petrotech completed its first OHGP (Open Hole Gravel Pack) job in South China Sea and became the first China local company that provides OHGP completion tool and services for CNOOC in that area since 1990s, when international service companies dominated the South China Sea market. 

The OHGP system includes multiple isolation packers, seal bores, screens, shifting tools, service tools, etc., the reliability of the tool highly depends on the quality of manufacturing and engineering design. Due to its high operation cost in offshore platforms, CNOOC has been only using products from ISCs for decades to ensure operation efficiency, until the quality products from Ruifeng Petrotech changed their mind.

The operation of the well was smooth and efficient with no NPT or HSE issue recorded. Ruifeng Petrotech was awarded multiple sand control jobs due to its cost efficiency and reliable quality.
