HP Hanging Packer

The HP hanging packer is a hydraulic-set, permanent packer with pressure rating of 10,000psi, it could be run as the top packer for staged fracturing in both open and cased holes.

The packer is run and set in combination with a setting tool, the setting force is adjustable. A special spiral ratchet design is used on the connection of setting tool and packer, that in the case of a stuck string, it could be rotated to free the string.

The element has an anti-extrusion design to prevent severe deformation under high pressure, and the bi-directional slips could provide solid anchoring forces to hang the tool string on the wellbore.

The packer has a full wellbore ID that allows a higher fracturing rate and path for future well intervention. Alloy steel is used on the packer by default and anti-corrosion materials could be selected as an option.
